INSTALLATION

Install Just As You Would a Regular Tube:

  1. Remove the tire from the wheel.
  2. Remove the old tube from the tire.
  3. Check the inside of the tire for any puncturing agents and remove them.
  4. Put just enough air in the tube to give it shape and install into the tire.
  5. Guide the valve stem through the valve hole in the rim.
  6. Starting from the valve, push the first side of the tire on the rim.
  7. Start at the valve and make sure the valve seat is inside the tire and push the second side of the onto the rim.
    • If you have to use a lever to finish mounting the tire on the rim use a tire lever, but be careful to not puncture the tube.
    • Never use a screw driver or other sharp object.
  8. Double check to make sure the valve stem seat (the thick rubber at the bottom of the stem) is inside the tire.
  9. Inflate the tube slowly and check several times during inflation to make sure the tire is seated to the rim correctly.
  10. Top off the pressure to the recommended tire pressure.
    • This pressure can be found on the side of your tire or by asking your local shop.

Calculate How Much To Use

Inches

Tire height x Tread width x .08 = ounces
Example: 26.5 x 2 x .08 = 4.24 oz

Metric

Tire height (mm) x Tread width (mm) x .00345 = ml
Example: 673 mm x 51 mm x .00345 = 118.41 ml
